Life is for living.

Losing both of my parents to cancer has probably shaped my view on life and its value, deeply impacting what I stand for today. It still took many years of experience and failing and constantly searching for ways to make the best use of this gift called life. And to be ready to share what I´ve learned - mostly through actual life experiences - to guide those, who are ready to improve their gift.

Having grown up with an entrepreneurial father and a spiritual mother, myself and my brothers were lucky to having been exposed to both worlds, which ultimately make up one world. Spending most of my years in Cape Town, gathering experiences in the diamond trading, real estate, launderette and forex trading businesses, I ended up wanting to pursue a career in tv presenting.

But life had other plans for me and made me a mother to a beautiful boy. Having been raised off mainstream principles myself, I´ve continued to implement them in our lives, home-schooling him, away from social media channels and brutal video games. The healthy mindset lifestyle, I credit my parents for, is what I live by- through and through.

Eventually my journey took me to Dubai where I entered the life of a business-owning workaholic, and spent years in the world of CEOs and business owners and before I noticed it, half a decade had gone. I missed much of my boys´ growing up. Instead of getting the best of me, he was getting the rest of me. I spent all my time working. Day in and day out, 7 days a week, with a one-week holiday, once a year. Over those years we encountered cases of acquaintances passing away from heart attacks and strokes, due to working insane schedules over years, leaving behind families. Burnouts are normal amongst our peer group.

Even though I was eventually able to implement many positive changes, it was not my dream I was building, not my life I was living. That entrepreneuress that had been longing to get out and the call to fulfil my soul path was getting louder and louder. I have always had this natural urge to help and support people. There were endless options and ideas swirling around in my head for years. But the one idea that had been persistent all these years was to, and I only notice as I write this that it is actually going back to my roots - combining business and spirituality - just like my parents represented both.

I believe there cannot be one without the other. There cannot be true fulfilment without keeping in mind who we are deep down on a soul level and also, there cannot be a secure life in this world without a purpose that also bears material fruits. There is no balance. It is an equilibrium. An equilibrium in which true happiness and fulfilment can be lived by satisfying all areas of life.
